The quality board grade that we use is for the protection of the produce being transported, not only that but we also considered durability, strength, cost effectiveness and most importantly it’s 100% recyclable. Which makes it an ideal choice for merchandising and marketing the fresh produce with ease. We have tested our packaging under realistic conditions to ensure the paperboard grade, flute direction and structural design is designed to the best performance. Our packaging has been proven to withstand various types of external loading and handling, protect the produce and reach the consumer without damage. We understand that the mode of duration of loading and climatic conditions are all important factors.
We have had measurable results through the “box compression testing”, which means that the paperboard we use can withstand a heavy load of compression without buckling or bending. When our boxes are stacked onto pallets, the maximum load will of course occur in the bottom layer, and the risk of collapse can be estimated. Through working directly with farmers and seeing first hand the packing and handling process, our boxes can be stacked without being distorted, damaged corners or destroyed produce.
